Norwegian Star Cruise Review to Alaska - Inside Passage
Ship: Norwegian Star
Cabin Type: Suite

Review SummarySeven years ago we experienced our first cruise on Carnival Cruise Lines in the Western Carribean. There really is no comparision between the two. This cruise on the Norwegian STAR exceeded our expectations. Our suite (11106) was outstanding; we loved the roominess and our favorite aspect was the balcony. The freestyle concept of dining was not only convenient, but allowed us to choose the attire that fit our mood!! The STAR was clean, the crew polite and professional, and we felt that the STAR's goal was to meet our every need and/or desire...to make us feel special at all times!! In addition, we felt that the STAR kept our safety and well-being always first and foremost.
Finally, this experience will always hold a special place in our hearts. We were celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary (our second honeymoon) and the STAR made our dream of touring Alaska come true. Thank you for a relaxing, romantic, and refreshing experience.
Pros: the balcony in our suite especially when cruising Glacier Bay!!
Cons: waiting in line for drinks in market cafe / coffee was too strong
