Worst, most expensive vacation we have ever taken. The food was awful! We paid extra(between $80 & $120)every night to eat decent(not great) food. The buffet was not fit for a dog. Nothing "freestyle" about it. We had to be in line @ 6:30AM to make reservations...yes, reservations for the following nights dinner. Reservations were even required in the "free" restaurants! No reservations meant that you had to eat the horrible buffet food. NCL is the biggest ripoff ever!

Food and Dining

I would have rather eaten at McDonalds for 8 nights than the horrible food they serve on this ship.

Entertainment

The magician was great, though it was his last cruise. The Chinese Acrobats were also good, but everything else was worse than a high school talent show.

Room size is fine. The beds are platform beds...very uncomfortable and not for people over 6' tall.

Pros: The staff

Cons: The food, the entertainment, the additional costs

Recommends Norwegian Star? No.
