Review summary

We had a great time on our cruise to Alaska aboard the Norwegian Star. The food was fantastic, entertainment was terrific (Second City Comedy Troupe), and the scenery was better than I could have immagined.

Just like being in Alaska during the gold rush. What a spectacular train ride!

Ketchikan, Alaska

Great city, would've liked to have spent more time in the totem pole capital of the world.

Juneau, Alaska

Loved Juneau, wouldn't mind moving there.

Prince Rupert, British Columbia

Great city, had never really heard much about Prince Rupert before, but I'd make a trip back to Canada just to visit this city again. Bald eagles everywhere!

Pros: The Alaskan cities were terrific, and the staff on the Norwegian Star were very professional, pleasant, and helped out any way they could.

Cons: I would have liked to have been able to spend a full day in each city, but to cover that much ground in a week ment some of the port stops had to be for just 5 to 6 hours.
