Norwegian Star Cruise Review to Alaska - Inside Passage
Ship: Norwegian Star
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Couple

Review SummaryThe overall evaluation of trip was "GOOD." Weather was excellent adding to the value of the trip.
Too many persons became ill, info was not shared with passengers.
Immature/rude behavior by some of the Bingo staff. As a middle age person, with a young spirit, I appreciate the fun-loving nature of the younger generation; however, each of the three times I played Bingo, the audience was treated to excessive joking by staff. The rude conduct relates to an offensive joke made by one of the Bingo callers when she asked, What do you call four Mexicans in quick sand? Cuatro, Cinco (45). This particular employee made various inappropriate comments throughout; as an example of another comment this individual made was when she told a lady, experiencing problems with her electronic card, to calm down lady in an unfriendly and sarcastic tone of voice.
Over-emphasis on drink sales. Continuously, throughout the trip, we were interrupted by the waiters pushing drink sales (to a bothersome degree) even when it was evident that no additional drinks were needed.

Cons: Trip to Juneau was too short, more time needed to do shopping and individual time on shore. Too much emphasis on drinks, staff behavior questionable at times.
