This was our first time with NCL and probably our last. We absolutely did not like freestyle cruising. You had to wait in line to be seated and had a different wait staff each meal. We prefer having the same waiters all week so that we get to know them and they learn what we like. The food was not hot----often cold. Sometimes we had to wait 15 to 20 minutes between courses when we dined in Windows Dining room. The Garden Room was somewhat better ev en though they serve the same menu and have the same chefs. Mlust be better managed. The lobster which we look forward to was the worst we had ever eaten on a ship. It was extrememly tough and cold. The buffet, "Raffles" was okay. Probably the best food we had was at the little grill where they're fare was hamburgers, hotdogs and fries. This food was always hot and very good for this type of meal. The ship is very pretty and the room staff was very friendly and accomodating.

Pros: Clean ship, lots of ports, nice sized rooms with larger showers than we had on other ships
Cons: The layout of the ship was not planned well. While we were on the same deck as the two dining rooms, we had to take the elevator up one floor, go to the back of the ship and then take the elevator back down a floor to finally get to the dining room. Food was mediocre-often cold
