We just came off the Spirit the last week of summer break from school. We were amazed and very suprised at the quality of service aboard this ship. It all started when we arrived at the terminal. The people at the terminal were a delight to deal with, apparently the cruise line keeps them happy with beverages and snacks. This means the happiness runs down to us, the passengers. This ship has beautiful decor and clean hallways. We had heard it was a ship made for the asian community and had smaller everything (chairs, beds and balconies) onboard. We did see a bit of that, but had to really look hard for it. The decor around the ship has a asian zen of a ambience to it. Soothing on the eyes and peaceful for the mind. Never found long lines or loud and noisy teens running around even though this was the last sailing before school started and there were many children onboard. Photographers were not intrusive and photos came out beautiful. Waitstaff were genuinely friendly and would always remember our names and what we liked to drink. No matter where we saw them they would greet us by our names. This ship is freestyle, so we didn't always have the same waiters. They can be requested each night though. Balcony cabin bathrooms are wonderful with the three split. One room for toilet, one for sink and one for shower. Shower is big enough to hold two or three people if needed. (Families with small children) Smoking is permitted on the ship.

Pros: Crew were fantastic

Cons: Cabin steward
