The ship was at best average. I have cruised before and have had much better experiences. I was completely disappointed and the friend I brought vows to never cruise again :( The great things were the freestyle dining and the port location. Many other passangers felt the same way. The 15 year olds should not be in the nightclub, and if you say 24 hours, you should mean 24 hours. The nightclub DJ was not friendly, and wouldn't know how to "mix-it" up on his best day. The only music he played was hiphop and the teenagers loved it(too bad they weren't suppose to be there). It wasn't until the last night that a manager began to kick out the under-aged drinkers. Our unlimited soda cards did have limits. When you left the casino after gambling and a few drinks you couldn't get a soda or a glass of water anywhere. Room service advertised 24 hours but they reserve the right to change that without notifying you. A few good people: Luis the waiter at The Garden Room, Alexandria in the Blue Lagoon, and Mr. Allman, the entertainer in Henry's Pub (the only good music and variety on the ship) . The pool was closed for most of a day. Why? The only pool. Where's the adult pool? Kids are great but they were everywhere-even at the adult only shows. No one asked them to leave.
Not so wonderful!!!
Sail Date: April 01, 2006
Traveled As: Singles/Friends
Pros: Freestyle dining is great!
Cons: The under-aged drinking was ridiculous! Their drinks were expensive and they didn't adhere to 24hour services they advertise.
