The main areas of the ship were recently refurbished and in great shape, very little scheduled activities other than those that required extra money to partake in. All those barrages of add- ons made us get quite irritable towards the end of the cruise.Too many restaurant experiences required a surcharge of between $15-$25 /person. Ultimate insult was at breakfast in the Windows restaurant our table was approached by a wait staff inquiring if we wanted to buy fresh squeezed orange juice for $3.50. I was insulted by her pushiness. Some of the wait staff are rather put upon to have to serve you . Very little incentive to have to be pleasant. Our cabin was clean on the surface when first entering, but quite dusty and in need of a better cleaning- lots of dust, filthy phone, bathroom shower all mildewed, dirty mirrors, generally harboring lots of germs. This was taken care after our immediate complaining . Room steward was very pleasant and helpful. This was not our first cruise on NCL, so I have something to reference to it.

Had to be recleaned after checkin as counters etc weren't even wiped down after the last guests disembarked.

Pros: The main areas of thr ship were in great shape

Cons: Few activities scheduled, too many extra charges, constant sales pitch
