this cruise was very nice. leaving out of new your was a plus for us. the ship was very clean and all of the employees were very nice and helpful. the onboard actiivities that we went to were very fun. our room was cleaned twice a day by excellent stewards. the freestylle aspect was perfect for us, as we only had to get dressed up if we wanted to, and could eat at any time we wanted to. the specialty resteraunt was easy to get reservations for and the food there was wonderful. i do not however suggest traveling during hurricane season. our itianry was changed and we were later for every port and missed a whole day at the last port of call. (at no fault of the cruiseline) this was a pain because shore excursions were cancelled and rescheduled. one particular excursion was cancelled and we were not even notified, we only found out when we disembarked the ship and went to find the bus. overall we had a nice time on this cruise and would cruise with NCL again.

Pros: our stateroom with the balcony

Cons: disembarking

Cabin / Stateroom
we were amazed at the size of our room. we had our bed but the an additional seat large this seat aslo pulled out to a single bed. we never used it to sleep but we unfloded it just to see what it was like. we were on the tenth floor but it was close to elevators and we didn't feel far from anything.
Service and Staff
with the exception of one employee and the pier when we were getting info taken before leaving on our cruise everyone was very friendly and helpful. they also always said hello when you saw anyone or passeed them on ship. our stateroom stewards were fabulous and i can't say enough about them. we felt like we they were always available.
Entertainment
there were tons of options each night. although we did not attend one everynight, the ones that we did attend we had a blast. we really liked patti & jose.
Ship Quality
this was our first cruise so i have no others to compare to it, but we thought that the ship was a great size. everything was easy to find on the ship, we never felt lost. again the ship and our stateroom was very clean.
Food and Dining
the foodcourt (raffles) was good. breakfast was by far the best of the meals. there was always different options for each meal. as i said above that freestyle was great for us, so we enjoyed eating when we wanted. the ships specialty resteraunt that we went to was cagneys, we thought that it was a beautiful setting and not overcrowed. the food was excellent here, and the service was superb.
Nassau, Bahamas
again we were very late to arrive at this port so we did not get off the boat until about 4:00 and everytihng seemed to close around 6:00. the next day we had to be back onship by 11:30 and our snorkeling excursion was rescheduled to 7:30 that morning, that took up the entire time so we didn't realy get to see much of nassau.
Don't Miss: we felt like we
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), Bahamas
we never made it to this port and were bummed about that. we were looking forward to spending time on the beach.
Port Canaveral, Florida
we arrived late here and the length of time at this port was extended. there were tons of excursions to pick from and we wanted to see kennedy space center. it got cancelled due to the storm. (spacecenter was closed) but no one notified us. so we ended up on a outside shuuttle (8 bucks) all day that went to wal-mart, a mall, coco beach village and thats about it. we felt kinda bummed to be at walmart on our honeymoon, and didn't go to the beach because we were dresed for a tour of the space center.
