A BIT DISAPPOINTING

Sail Date: September 01, 2007

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Inside

This was a one night cruise for fun.
Having said that there was little consideration from the staff or crew to promote fun. Their IDEA of fun was to keep you in the casino all night. The disco / night clubs all closed before midnight. The shops were closed by 11:00 PM & the pools were all closed and drained at 11:00PM. So what were we to do for fun the rest of the night?

Pros: THE SPA WAS WONDERFUL

Cons: LACK OF CLEANLINESS

Recommends Norwegian Spirit? No.

Cabin / Stateroom
good size - but dirty and the beds were not nicley made up.
Entertainment
no activity direction
Service and Staff
not willing to go the extra mile or do anything more than they had to.
Children's Programs
the childrens pool area looked nice
Ship Quality
DIRTY. THERE WERE REMNANTS OF HAIR ON THE TABLES. THE BATHROOM WAS DIRTY. AND THERE WERE LEFTOVER BOTTLES BEHIND THE MINI SOFA IN THE BEDROOM.
Food and Dining
THE Main dining room menu left far to be desired. the additional upscale restaurant was good - sevice was nice and food was good - but not great. and you had to pay extra 20.00-30.00 more for the meal - it truely was not worth the extra fee.
and to top it off>>>>>
We wanted to bring a bottle of wine on board to drink a toast in our cabin.
The crew informed us that if we took it on in our luggage that we would have to pay an extra $15.00 to drink our own bottle of wine..... now mind you we only paid about $10.00 for the bottle of wine. What nerve of them.. and of course when I went to get a bottle from the duty free store after 11:00 pm ---- they said sorry - we're closed and will not reopen during this crise. The buffet was fair - they kept running out and slowly refilled items.
