Beware! Bad Food, Bad Service!!!

Sail Date: April 01, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

We have cruised many times (Disney, Princess and Royal Caribbean). The food on the Spirit was horrible. No activites planned for the Teens. Stay away from this cruise line - better off to spend just a little more and take a Royal Caribbean Cruise. Never again!!!

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Food, teen activities

Recommends Norwegian Spirit? No.

Cabin / Stateroom
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Main dining room - only 4 choices on the menu. Buffet was horrible. Restaurants - extra charge and you have to stand in line at 8:00 AM to make a reservation - not my idea of a vacation!
Children's Programs
Nothing for the teens to do.
Service and Staff
By not having assigned dinner seating there wasn't an incentive to give good service. $10 per day per person is automatically added to your bill. Service was downright rude sometimes.
