Not so good cruise

Sail Date: December 01, 2006

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

For a old ship it was well maintained.

Pros: NCL Production Company shows

Cons: FOOD

Recommends Norwegian Spirit? Yes!

Ship Quality
The public rest rooms smelled like urine and dirty cup/glasses were in some of them for a long period of time.
Food and Dining
I liked the freestyling dining but didn't like the menu's most of the time. You shouldn't have to pay an additional charge for the other restaurants. You pay enough for the cruise and all other grautities that are tagged on to have to pay anymore.
Service and Staff
The staff always spoke everytime they say you.
Cabin / Stateroom
The size was ok but the bathroom was a different story. We had alot of mildew in the shower area and there were 2 of us and at times they only put 1 wash cloth for the both of us. Towels and bedspread had hole in them. Location was good. We had a balcony room.
Entertainment
The only good shows was the NCL Production Company and the Staff Talent show.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
We traveled to this island once before so we didn't do much
Roseau, Dominica
Only went to the shops
Road Town, Tortola, B.V.I.
Walked the town streets and shopped in all the shops. Wished we would have had more time on this island. It was nice
St. John's, Antigua
We couldn't get passed the spell in town so we turned around and went back to the ship
St. George's, Grenada
The tours were excellent. The guide we had was excellent. We booked our own with the island people.
Bridgetown, Barbados
Much to see. Went on island tours and enjoyed all
