Review summary

My first cruise experience was perfect. The convenience of a New York disembarkation, the 8 day length of the voyage, and immediate vacation gratification as soon as the ship was boarded were some of the highlights. FreeStyle dining was perfect for my way of life, and the cuisine was gourmet style with mouth watering dishes and attractive presentations. Bermuda was the best, with St. Thomas and Tortola a close second and third.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Superb catering for every meal, buffet, specialty restaurant. Freestyle dining is the only way to have a stress free vacation.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The bands were very good . Some of the shows could have been improved but were satisfactory. The fitness center was more than adequate.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The Hotel Director, Hugo Vanosmael, The Captain Gunnar, and "Rambo" the Dining Room Officer from Croatia, were exceptionally charismatic. The crew excelled at their jobs.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ships officers and crew were exceptionally friendly.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
A suite would have been better, but the value for the size of the stateroom was perfect.

Ports of call

King's Wharf, Bermuda

Hop a ferry as soon as possible and go to St George for a couple of hours, then to Hamilton on the scenic bus route.
Don't Miss: Horseshoe Bay Beach is breathtaking. Prettiest beach in the Carribean. A must!!!

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

Swimming with the Dolphins is a once in a lifetime experience. Sipping a "Bushwacker" at Paradise Point overlooking the harbor at sunset is a must.
Don't Miss: Swimming with the Dolphins

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
