What a trip!!

Sail Date: March 26, 2006

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was beautiful, so much fun, the pool was so warm the jacuzzi was great. Well kept!

Pros: The ship was great

Cons: Some confusion on the buffet- but after you got use to it, it was fine

Ship Quality
It was the perfect size- Not too small and not too big- a little confusing with getting to some of the restaurants on different levels, we made the note of the color of the carpets to know where we were at on the ship!
Food and Dining
Buffet was confusing, people waiting in lines that you do not need to wait in, after a couple days, it gets smoother. The dining was great, upscale options were nice to have and the food was well worth the extra charge based on the price of the cruise.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Some staff could not understand you at all. The staff did go out of there way to get my laundry back that I needed for the following morning. Remember there is no iron, so bring a steamer or something!
Entertainment
Nightime entertainment was Ok, but by then we were so tired, it didn't really matter
Children's Programs
The staff was wonderful and made very happy memories for my child!!
Miami, Florida
We headed to South Beach, lots of traffic, beach was very dirty, the nudity all over was uncomfortable with small children. The restaurants during the day are quite dirty. Just a little less then what we expected, but still part of the experience
Port Canaveral, Florida
Great stop with kids, went to Disney!
Nassau, Bahamas
The water taxi was a joke, charge you for a round trip, walk 25 minutes to get to beach! Unorganized, the beach that they send the cruise ship peole too has not staff, the water was deadly that day, all other resorts took people out of the water due to the undertoe, this beach islanders served you booze and let you swim. Paid additinal money to get taxi back, have to wait until we are packed in like sardines, pay how much for a ten minute ride- BIG Rip off!
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), Bahamas
What a disappointment to not have had the whole day there. Our iteniary showed that we had a full day there and 1/2 day in the Bahamas but we were informed on the ship that it rotates and it's so much better in the Bahamas because the island could get crowded. Who cares how crowed based on the horrible Bahamas experience!
