Review summary

I would never do NCL again. Ship was old. The crew seemed like they didn't want to be there except for 1 deck steward and my cabin steward...those where the only 2 who seemed to enjoy their jobs. The food wasn't great. The people on ship were drunk because of the open bar. I prefer Celebrity. I won't be back.

There was one deck steward whose name was Reliable and he was truly reliable and remarkable. He was the only redeeming factor on this ship. Everyone else seemed like they did not want to be there.

My cabin was on deck 6 inside cabin and no elevator. Had to carry my bag down the steps. Room was old, carpet worn. It was clean but that was it.

Cabin was roomy but dated. Sink was cracked. Carpet faded. Needs an update. Maybe I'm just spoiled by Celebrity cruiseline.

Ship tip

Don't go on an open bar - people were so drunk and they were either mean or very amorous. It was crazy.

If you’re a Celebrity Cruise Line regular this Cruise line wasn’t your speed in the first place. How many cruises have you taken with Celebrity. Celebrity is known for their more adult like atmosphere and older crowd. You didn’t do your homework on this cruise. And if you’re used to a higher grade Cruise line why did you book an inside cabin on the 6th deck?

So you took a 3 day cruise with open bar on one of the oldest ships in their fleet and are ready to write off the whole cruise line? Short cruises are notorious for drinking and partying, regardless of the cruise line. Most cruise lines use their older ships on short cruises at cheaper prices to continue to get use out of the ships and introduce new people to cruising. It’s the typical “you get what you pay for” scenario.
