What a great time!

Sail Date: June 11, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

Even though there were alot of passengers aboard, the ship didn't seem crowded. very small wait times for the buffets and no waiting at either of the included dinner spots (The Palace or the Crossings)the ship was very clean and easy to navigate your way around the different decks. My wife gets motion sickness very easy and was concerned about how she would feel during this trip, to our suprise, the ship was very stable and unless you were on an open air deck or at a window you couldn't tell you were moving.

Pros: The ship's staff

Cons: almost missing out on the Aquaadventure in Atlantis

Recommends Norwegian Sky? Yes!

Ship Quality
this ship was very well designed with the passenger in mind.
Food and Dining
the buffets were good, the food at the Palace was excellent!
Cabin / Stateroom
We were very happy with our balcony stateroom. We had our six year old son with us and had a nice fold out sofa bed perfect for him. Our room was located very close to the stairs and elevators.
Service and Staff
We can't say enough about the wonderfull staff on the Sky. very attentive, polite and caring!
Entertainment
A very nice, clear news letter (Freestyle Daily) was left in our stateroom each night letting us know what we was in store for us the next day.
Children's Programs
Our son had a great time at the Kid's Corner! He was upset that we came to pick him up!
Nassau, Bahamas
You must go to Atlantis! take the tour, its worth the 45 minutes. The AquaAdventure was great! can't wait to return.
Don't Miss: The slides at Atlantis!
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), Bahamas
This was the best area for us to introduce our son to snorkling! plenty of shallow water for the younger crowd to feel safe while learning to snorkle. Plenty of deeper areas for the more advanced swimmers to have fun as well. the BBQ was good and plenty of island music to hear through the entire island!
Don't Miss: The water!
