The Sky is a beautiful ship given that it's the oldest in the fleet (10yrs). Our room was just big enough and comfortable. Other than the jogging track right above us, we didn't hear a thing. We could barely tell the ship was moving! The cruise director Matt was the best. Can't wait to see what the rest of the fleet is like. And we especially liked the Freestyle dining. Embarkation and return was easy and fast. Our flight was delayed getting to the ship so we had to run, but they held the ship an extra 30mins or so to help everyone get on that had the same problem. We completely enjoyed our stay and would definately travel on NCL again.
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The food on the deck and the sports bar was great, but the food in the dining rooms wasn't always great. BUT, it's freestyle and if you didn't like something, they would gladly take it back and give you something else. The only thing is I wish there was lobster on more than one night.

Matt the cruise director was the best! We really enjoyed him. The shows were good too. Rich Purpura was funny. The schedule was just right and kept things flowing from one event to the next so you didn't have to miss anything.
Service and Staff

Our steward was very accomodating, although, some of the reception/excursion/credit desk staff could have been a bit more friendly. They hardly spoke, but the rest of the staff was great!

The layout of the ship was almost perfect. You have to explore all the floors from front to back to make sure you find everything. We didn't notice the gift shop until our last night. But everything was exceptional.
Cabin / Stateroom

Everytime we left our room, when we returned it was cleaned and the mood lighting was set. Our bed was comfortable, never had a problem with our climate control and best of all, it was QUIET. We didn't tell them we were a couple, but when we got to our room, we had a queen sized bed, chocolate covered strawberries, and wine compliments of 1-800 Cruises and NCL. Thanks to our steward and stewardess!
Pros: Beautiful ship, lots to do
Cons: Didn't know how the alcohol specials worked.
