Great Cruise

Sail Date: August 25, 2008

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

Great public spaces, feeling of a much larger ship. Quick check in and check out. Good food and service in the dining room, not in the buffet. Very clean ship, never saw anything out of place. The balcony cabin was smaller than on other ships but workable. Nassau and Gret Stirrup Cay were great.

Pros: Updated interior, ports of call

Cons: Buffet food, small cabins

Recommends Norwegian Sky? Yes!

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
The caves and beaches trip we took was not that great. It took us to the caves which were tiny and not worth the trip. The first beach was 30 minute walk away in the 100 degree heat.
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), Bahamas
The beach was outstanding, the area clean, plenty of chairs and shade. The barbecue was good too.
Nassau, Bahamas
The Hilton hotel beach was great. Walking distance to the ship.
Don't Miss: If you can afford it, the Atlantis trip.
