An amazing week at sea!

Room Type: Balcony

This was our first cruise and it will definately not be our last!! The ship was very clean and well taken care of. There were many choices for dinner depending on what you were in the mood to eat. We tried one of the restaurants on Wednesday night and it was the best of the week. The pool area was small, but the water was cold, so it was not an issue! We only went to a few shows and enjoyed them, but they had activities for everyone. They even had activities if you didn't want to get off the ship at the ports. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and we would recommend it to anyone.

Pros: The room was wonderful and it was nice to have extra perks for having a balcony room.

Cons: The pool was small, we were expecting a little bit bigger pool area.

Recommends Norwegian Sky? Yes!

Food and Dining
The food was good, but maybe not great! We highly recommend eating in one of the specialty restaurants! We ate in Cagney's Steakhouse and it was absolutely worth the extra charge!!!
Service and Staff
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a balcony room. It was nice to have that little bit of extra room especially when the water was rough and we needed some fresh air.
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
We did the majority of our shopping here and it was very reasonably priced in the straw markets.
Don't Miss: Definately go to the beach and the casino. They are worth every minute!
Nassau, Bahamas
Nassau was a bit dirty, it was not our favorite stop. There are many places to shop, but prices were a little high. The best shopping seemed to be in the straw market.
Don't Miss: The glass bottom boat....the tour around the island is very peaceful and beautiful.
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), Bahamas
The island is beautiful. Make sure you take everything you need the first time. It takes about an hour to return to the boat for anything you forgot!
Don't Miss: Make sure you take the hike to the lighthouse. There were many things to see along the walk and if you went a little past the lighthouse, the view was amazing!
