I cruised on the Norwegian Sea for time on November 16, 01, for the first time since last summer of 2000. My first cruise was on a nice big ship from another cruise line, then a year later I wanted to try another cruise company to see the ways other company service, but I was so disappointed because the Norwegian Sea was very old and dirty. The bathroom was small, exhaust fan was dirty, same as the sink and and toilet, and I cannot talk about the shower, which was even worse. The shower could be for a 10-year-old, but not for an adult. To me, even I am small person 115 lbs., but couldn't stand all in the shower. I just wonder what it looks like for a big built person, how he/she could stand in the shower. All the facilities were old and dirty. No need to to discuss. The food was OK. Wasn't great as I expected, like the first time I cruised on another line. They didn't have midnight snacks every night as the one I cruised the first time. My cruise was 7-days and they had only it twice for a midnight snack.I agreed with someone whom rated this ship poorly, it's even only 1* instead of 2*, it looks like "Motel 6."If you play Bingo on the ship, don't expect to win a free trip for 14 days because as someone said, the cost of airfare from your place to Miami, FL, will cost money and you have to pay Port and Tax charge, also they give you a small cabin down under the bottom of the ship, also you feel like they do for you a favor instead of a "Winner."I was the one won a trip for 14 days around the world, after I played the last day of Bingo. As someone said you could choose either 3, 7, 12 or 14 days. To me I couldn't use the 14 days trip because I've to work and have to take care my old folks, so I could only choose a 3-days trip instead of 14 days. When you want to use the winning trip you have to contact the place whom offered the trip, it seemed like you begged them for a favor, they would tell you that you have to pay port charge and tax and pay your own air fare, not even that they would select the cabin whichever was available and the cabin was always down the bottom of the ship near the cruise stay. Luckily, I was a Latitude member and could upgrade to the cabin which has window. For the 2nd time, cruised the same ship (Norwegian Sea), I thought it was better but it was even worse than 1st time. The bed was dirty, the cover bed was dirty, the window's method frame was rusted and dirty, if for some reason whomever gets cut from the window frame could get sick, not talk about the bathroom itself, the exhause fam was filled up with dirt, the shower was dirty, and also the sink, etc....The activities on the ship was boring, etc.I would not recommend this ship nor this cruise line to any one at all even it's dirt cheap.Disappointed cruise passenger - VA
