Just returned from the 4/6/01 3-night Bahamas sailing on the NCL Sea and had an overall great experience. The ship was clean and in good shape. Freestyle cruising is less restrictive and the service we received from all the staff was excellent. With freestyle cruising, the tips are split ($10/day p/p is well worth it). The food was pretty good overall, but I have had much better on other cruise lines. The only negatives: The cabins are very small, in almost all categories (except suites), they wouldn't cook a hamburger at the poolside BBQ anything less than extra well done (singed, mostly black and dried out). Everything else was great. Great Stirrup Cay was a lot of fun and the most enjoyable stop. Get tender tickets early as they use only one tender ship and it could take awhile to get there. The shows (3 nights) were good: Comedian/Juggler, Grease, and Sea Legs. Considering the bargain price paid (we also arranged our own air), it was well worth the money, and we had a great time. We would certainly go again.
