A much needed relaxing trip with family. We enjoyed the time and drinks

It was a great cruise minus the issues with our room. The biggest problem was we had to come back to the room. I believe in NCL and I know everyone else on the cruise felt the same way. They might have wanted to wait a little longer before sailing.

There were a great many college age spring breakers that dominated the pool deck but were very very well behaved, my hats off to all of you. The ship was keep clean throughout any area we visited or walked through, that is a big plus for me, I don't like to see unkept areas on a ship. The shows were good, comedian sucked, the music was good. My cabin was kept up very nicely by our steward Mr. Ma. All and all it was a good cruise for the money. Thanks again to Norwegian.

My cruise was very relaxing, I was fascinated and impressed with the sanitation protocols and procedures. The crew were friendly but firm in terms of their task and responsibilities. Entertainment was good however the choice of food for breakfast was poor; lots of eggs and bacon (which I dont eat). Also, the food in all complimentary restaurants were very salty, even the soups.

Love the cruise. First time on a ship under 100 tons and enjoyed it.

Had a great time and would definitely cruise again but not on the ship. I really recommend a larger ship. This was my first time on Norwegian but my second cruise and my first was with Royal Caribbean and that was a larger ship and I did enjoy the activities more so with RC. I do enjoy the freestyle cruising however I do enjoy the my time dining with RC. I’m up in the air about what cruise line I should stay with but I definitely want to book one.

Okay trip. Loved entertainment but disappointed with some other things

You get what you pay for... understaffed and crowded. Do yourself a favor and cruise with Royal Caribbean

Enjoyed this cruise very much! Great food, drinks, the people, the staff. Yes, I would sail the Pearl again

I chose this cruise because it was a good deal on a 5 night western Caribbean cruise. I had only sailed on Royal Caribbean and Carnival prior to this cruise and was very excited for this new trip. Food was a major disappointment. Buffet food was lack luster and the sit down dining was not good. Appetizers were ranked highest at a 5/10 and main entrees probably 3/10. Entrees seemed to mainly consist of chicken or beef for every dish. Fish i ordered twice was mushy. Chicken was ALWAYS dry and beef lacked flavor. I was amazed when I found out there would be no lobster, shrimp, scallops, or other seafood that I always looked forward to on a cruise. Bottom line, food was a big disappointment. Room was fine. We had an interior room and it was enough room for both of us. Bathroom was nice and shower was spacious. Entertainment was another negative. I was not very impressed. The comedian, Alex, however was very funny. The staff was very friendly and helpful in every aspect. Our stateroom housekeeper was awesome and so was our waitress in the Indigo. While the food was not good she made our night and we kept making sure we got her each night for dinner. Pool space was too small. 2 small pools and 4 small hot tubs. No interior pools or hot tubs unless you want to pay an up charge. This was another negative of the cruise. It seems as if you have to pay extra for everything that normal cruise lines include. Destinations were great. No complaints. Almost the entire cruise the ship was rocking heavily. Not sure if this is normal but the ship is older so maybe it is. Unfortunately this cruise did not live up to my expectations. I will not be sailing on NCL again after this experience.

Would 100% do this cruise and itinerary again. We weren't in love with going out of Miami or coming back to it. Everything just seemed a bit hectic. Overall, the ship is a little bit older, but we were never bored. The food was great and the entertainment was amazing as well.

We had a wonderful cruise as always! I am not sure we would book another short cruise again. We did encounter more drunk passengers on this cruise then we have ever had. We didn't let them ruin our time, we tried to avoid the areas where they were being obnoxious. We understand everyone is entitled to enjoy their cruise differently.

We had a very enjoyable vacation and would not hesitate to do again

Although there were many setbacks on this trip I was able to make the best of bad situations and enjoyed the cruise. Norwegian staff were very accomodating.

Cruises with NCL several times and this was the most disappointing 🙁

It was our first time with Norwegian. The food was not that good and we had problems with our bill. We prepaid service fees so we wouldn’t have to worry about them while on board. They started charging us service fees. We then found out that the 2nd day on ship, after we asked why we were being charged since we prepaid, they reimbursed us the $150 we had paid. Why give the prepay option if true really doesn’t exist. Will not cruise Norwegian again.

We were a family grouping with one mini-suite and two, two bedroom suites. We traveled with young college kids, teens, Mid 50's and one elder. We were able to get our minor college kids (20 and 19) a caps and corks package with parental consent. They were able to have wine and beer. They are only allowed to have one drink at a time, and as a parent you are responsible for them. It is very hard to find this information and the package can only be purchased in person after you have boarded the boat.

Overall we were really impressed with NCL staff and operations. Disembarking and shore excursions need some work. I enjoyed Cartagena, Panama, Puerto Limon and Roatan as "real places" more than Harvest Caye and Costa Maya which were pretty much cruise experiences on land, so it depends on what you are looking for.

This our third cruise was very enjoyable,we struck up a relationship with two couples whom we met on the ship and shared many happy moments together.Belize was the port (Placencia Village) we enjoyed most,friendly people,interesting signs ,beautiful art,tasty food.Maybe because it's an older ship the cabin was small, could not accommodate a chair thus we were not comfortable .There was also no coffee maker in the cabin.Kudos to the duo at the buffet who devise a very creative hand sanitizing song using the melody of an old Beatles song.lnformation with respect to last port and destination port of call when viewed from the ships information channel was not always correct,and it appears that gratuities were expected to be paid twice.
