It was a good 3 nights but they can do better to capture those first timers. Bars get crowed since they are slow serving. Not that many servers for drinks. Food is average. Entertainment is boring as their best.

In summary; the NCL Pearl is an older vessel. Smallish by today’s standards. However, NCL still commands a premium price for its services. Staff and food are generally good but entertainment is lacking. The Boston to Bermuda Cruise is no longer the great value that it once was. We will likely explore other options for our next journey.

Relax and let go, this isn’t a revolutionary cruise, all about slow travel and contemplation

This was our 1st cruise. Will probably cruise again but probably not on Norwegian. The reason I say that is every time you turned around they were trying to sell you something, from overpriced art prints, very expensive photos, spa treatments, jewelry and watches. They even went through the audience before shows trying to sell you pull tabs from the casino. Another complaint was the drinks package. We like wine. They has very few wines available without an up charge. There was a reasonably good Sauvignon Blanc from Chile. You could get this at dinner, but the regular bars were almost always out. They wanted to substitute a very poor white wine from Israel. If they have it as the restaurants why were they constantly out at the bars? As part of a promotion, we had two dinners in the specialty (charge) restaurants. We found almost no difference in the quality between the main dining rooms and the specialty restaurants. We tried the French restaurant (the only one with any sort of a dress code) and that was the dinner we liked least. We almost skipped our second specialty dinner but didn’t. It was no better than the dinners in Summer Palace and Indigo, the two main dining rooms. If you have to pay for a dinner package, my advice is don’t. You will have excellent meals in the main dining rooms and at the buffet (which had a small selection of excellent Indian entrees).

I think it is a great opportunity to see Bermuda in a few days. We were glad to be able to hop on a bus because it was unbearably hot in Bermuda and then back on the ship with air conditioning, food and entertaining. We would do it again!

Second trip to Bermuda and it was amazing!!! Visited Snorkel Park Beach, which we highly recommend. Snorkeling with lots of coral and small fish. Next day we went to the mall and small shops.

Smoking in the casino was very disappointing. Food was poor quality. Bermuda is awesome. Bar Harbor was great bonus.

Overall a fun and relaxing time. Again more of a party ship which I am not a fan of. Never been on NCL and unsure if will do again, I like a less party type cruise with not a lot of kids. This cruise was on my bucket list and a 50th birthday present to myself. If you are like me and hate crowds get the spa pass. Also spend a little more for a bigger cabin. Bermuda is awesome so much to do. My advice walk a bit to the bus depot near the port and buy tokens, this is the best and cheapest way to get around. Cheers all and happy cruising!

We felt totally pampered and catered to. The crew was amazing and accommodated any request. We also met great people throughout the week. We were the talk of the town not being from Boston as about 2/3 were!

Nice relaxing trip thats a great way to get away from things and spend some time with loved ones.

I went with a girlfriend. We had a good time despite a tropical storm in Bermuda and it was cold, wet and foggy in Bar Harbor. We met lots of nice people. The staff is what made our trip a treat!

Overall cruise was amazing. The buffet food was lack luster but the actual restaurants for dinner, (indigo, summer palace, teppanyaki, cagneys etc) we’re all amazing! Staff was extremely friendly and kind. All shows were fantastic, just wish the ship catered more towards the 20-40 age range, especially in terms of music/ shows etc. A-lot of music and late night shows (9pm-close) we’re all meant for older crowds 40-80 of age. But my husband and I noticed it was more of the 20-40 year olds that were awake at these hours and enjoying the bars etc.

This is my 7th cruise and I think the best. Everything was perfect. The ship was a little more than half full. That makes a big difference.

Overall we had a wonderful trip. We probably would’ve liked to spend another day in warmer weather instead of going to Bar Harbor. But Maine was very pretty… just cool.

This was a replacement cruise for a canceled one, so we decided on this one kinda last minute. I personally prefer cruises that go to various ports, as one day is all we needed in Bermuda. 🥴

Sailed on the Gem a lot. Hoping for the same experience on the Pearl. I am sure corona virus had a lot to do with ships ability to find quality entertainment Cutting cost where ever they can. Such as booze not being available. But I will be back 2 more times this year. The Crew makes all the difference.

Very disappointed with NCL. We are avid cruisers who never cruised with NCL before and probably never will again. We felt cheated by NCL with the total lack of good entertainment, poor quality of food, the total lack of communication from the ships captain and cruise staff. We were informed of our itinerary change only a couple of weeks before our cruise date. When we booked our Bermuda cruise we were supposed to be in Bermuda for 3 full days and 3 overnights. Being from New Hampshire we would not choose to go to Bar Harbor in April. It was pretty bad that all the shop owners in Bar Harbor knew that NCL was coming months before we did. Overall NCL was very underwhelming with every aspect of this cruise and lost an opportunity to wow us and win us over for future business.

The staff were totally committed to my satisfaction, consistently remembering me for repeated interactions. The food was exceptional and the ship was immaculate. Everything was very well organized for a great experience.

5 day cruise to Harvest Cat and Costa Maya, enjoyable with nice weather (78-80 degrees each day, no rain)
