The ship ws gorgeous and sparkling! Everything was kept immaculate and the staff was absolutely fantastic.

tHIS SHIP IS GOOD FOR A LARGE FAMILY BECAUSE THERE ARE SO DIFFERENT THINGS TO DO.

when we first layed eyes on the "Pearl" on Pier 66 in Seattle all we could say was "Wow, how can this float?".We were very impressed not only by it's size but also for it's beauty, and that impression lasted for the whole week. It is a beautiful ship!

The Pearl is a big, new ship with a lot of glitz. It had a lot of choices for restaurants and activities which we liked. The pool was heated, so our kids swam even though the air temperature was chilly.

I really liked the fact they made you disinfect your hands going in for dinnner, and when you returned to the ship, great idea.

We chose NCL's Pearl for our vacation because of the amenities on board for our 11 & 12 year old sons. We had always heard that Alaska was an "old person's" cruise, so we made sure there was stuff to do on board. We had a great time! Tons of stuff to do, great shore excursions, and the ship is great! Lots of places to hang out and read- near the pool or not. Covered areas, lots of windows, etc. Service was excellent, but I did hear some complaints. The only downfall is that food was not always available if you didn't want to go to one of the buffets. Dining rooms/specialty restaurants hours didn't necessarily coincide with "all aboard" times in port. Never did get to eat at La Cucina- couldn't get reservations. Overall, not just a cruise for old people. Plenty to do and see for all ages and all mobility levels (my mom rides a scooter.)

Since the ship was brand new, the quality of the accomodations and public areas were clean, neat & in excellent shape. The two negatives were that all rooms are optional smoking along with balconies - meaning that if you're not a smoker, your balcony could be surrounded by people smoking. (there is no non-smoking room section of the ship). It made it impossible for my family (3 kids) to spend any time on the balcony to view the glaciers and other areas. The second negative is the food offerings for breakfast and lunch. There is really only 1 buffet open for breakfast and lunch (the blue Lagoon will only seat around 40 people). This means that somewhere around 2,000 people are trying to get breakfast and lunch through the one area.

What a wonderful time we had. The ship and the staff were way beyond our expectations. Our stateroom was much larger than we thought it would be. The bed was very comfortable which we thought may be a problem like it is when we use hotels. The rooms were very quiet, the only time you heard much noise was when you had the balcony door open. You could not hear your neighbor using the bathroom. That was how well the construction of the ship was. The restaurants were wonderful. We ate at several of them and was not disappointed at all. The food at all locations was excellent. Hygiene was very important to the crew. Sanitizing stations were at all boarding and unboarding locations and at all restaurant openings. The staff would ask that you use this both entering and leaving. The staff was very friendly and outgoing. We made shipboard freinds with several of the staff and made sure we said goodby when the cruise was over. The amount of effort to keep the ship clean both inside and out was incredible. Each day every area was dusted or washed. When you were in port the exterior of the ship was cleaned and areas painted. Would we take another cruise, yes. As I told our friends and also the cruise director on the ship, I would not even think of using another cruise line on my next trip. I told them I didn't think Norweigen could be beat. As a foot note I would say if you want to see land mammals make sure to take tours that will give you that chance. We did not and all we saw were a chipmonk and 3 huskies. In the water we saw whales, sea otters, seals, and a lot of salmon.

Wonderfully clean and comfortable ship. Friendly crew. Only problem was food variety and quality in all restaurants, especially buffet lines.

This was an awesome itinerary. The ship is new ...say no more.

The ship is beautiful. However the rooms aren't insulated and you get a lot of noise from the rooms next to you and the hallway. We were very disapointed in the quality of the food even in the specialty restaurants lacked flavor. We found the bar staff very unfriendly. The ship has a beautiful spa unfortunately the staff doesn't match the facility

The Pearl is a beautiful ship. We really enjoyed it.

It is a new ship and is clean and bright.

The ship was beautiful. Staterooms were more spacious than I anticipated. Ample closet and drawer space.

The cruise was excellent. The people on the ship were terrific. The all went the extra mile to please the guests.

Very impressive as it was my first cruise. Everyting you can imagine was there. My mother complained the quality of the shows were poor, Out of her 15 cruises she said despite the shows it was her best cruise ever, she is 86. Kudos to Norwegian you pulled it off.

It being my first cruise with NCL, I had different expectations. But looking at the Ship, changed my view. All the bars, different restaurants, shopping arcades, casino/bingo/slots machines, shows in the theater, live music and dance....., everything was a treat for the sensibilities. Gym, pool/spa were exceptionally well managed and the young staff was very helpful besides being very knowledgeable

The Cruise Line did a great job with check in. Allowed passengers on to the ship way ahead of time. Service was overall very good. The ship was in great shape. The exercise room was well equipped. Staff seemed overworked but were still very polite. The best part of the cruise were the stops. Each had its own beauty and character. Alaska was truly a beautiful place. So, was Bushart Gardens in Victoria. The entertainment on the ship left much to be desired. Free style dining is still the way to go.

The ship is a new ship and is very clean. We loved everything about the ship and the crew members from all over the world were always so nice and willing to go out of their way to assist us. The ship has like 13 restaurants and probably 10 different bars. This ship is awesome.
