Review summary

The staff were totally committed to my satisfaction, consistently remembering me for repeated interactions. The food was exceptional and the ship was immaculate. Everything was very well organized for a great experience.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Well organized and positive vibe all around. There were fairly long lines and then a waiting period, but they were not a big deal for me, and everything was pleasant.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Exceptional food quality with the buffet, in the main dining rooms, and the specialty restaurants I dined at (Cagney’s, Le Bistro). Wait staff were very solicitous of my enjoyment and happy.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The only onboard activities I used were the basketball court and the jogging track (for walking). I thoroughly enjoyed getting my physical activity with both. Gratefully, I maintained my weight during this cruise.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service was exceptional virtually all the time. My room steward, Elisa, particularly stood out, always remembering my name and chatting with me in the hallways, and of course keeping my room in impeccable condition. For wait staff, Indigo particularly shined, with waiters Daniel and Mylene totally committed to my satisfaction, happily.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship’s interior was in immaculate condition and everything was very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The bed was very comfortable and I always got a good night’s sleep. There was more than enough room for my things (I’m a solo traveler). There were a few times when the music from a bar on the floor above penetrated my room in the evening. The room was kept spotless.

Ship tip

Before boarding, intend to enjoy yourself in every moment and then relax and let everything unfold beautifully for you.

Ports of call

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Being that this cruise was in April, it was too cool (60s) for the beach, but my two excursions were enjoyable. One was bus ride over most of the island and the other was to the beautiful Crystal Caves and the aquarium.

Boston, Massachusetts

5 out of 5
I live in the Boston area, so nothing new for me.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and fast disembarkation. I carried my own bags and was off the ship in about fifteen minutes. There were no customs interactions, unless you had purchased at least $800 in goods.
