Great cruise with a nice itinerary. Loved the 12 days better than a 7 day. Good food and the entertainment was decent. The Pearl is a beautiful ship with a great staff.
Embarkation

All went pretty well. The usual wait in line, but no problem.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The main dining room and buffet food was good, but not a lot of variety. Still, everything was tasty.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Pool was great! Unfortunately, some chair hogs were in attendance 🙄
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Some very good shows and some mediocre. Loved the comedians and the 2 pianists! Great hand balancing duo. Some decent singers.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Great service and staff for the majority of the cruise. Always a couple of people that probably should choose another line of work, but so many good ones!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everything was very neat, clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very good cabin.
Ship tip
Bring towel clips for the pool chairs and magnetic hooks for the cabin!
Did the train excursion through the country. Learned about banana plantations. Saw a sloth and a howler monkey. Too expensive for what the tour was. I wouldn't recommend it due to the price. Maybe 30 minutes on the actual vintage train. Not a whole lot to see either.
Gorgeous water and beautiful sandbar where I swam with stingrays. Excellent guides for this tour! Corina was very excellent and the guys were very good also. I highly recommend this tour! The water is crystal clear and warm! AWESOME experience!
Went to Little French Key and it was beautiful! Peacocks walk around and the water is crystal clear. Visited the sloth and monkey refuge. Loved holding a sloth!!! That was so sweet! I would skip the monkey cage. They love to land on your head with wet feet. Yuck!
Went on Black Swan boat ride. Rum punch and friendly tour guides, but not much of anything to see. A couple of manatees breathing. but all you can see is a disturbance in the water - never saw the manatees. That would have made this tour worth it. Just a 30 minute boat ride. As it was raining, it was ok. The pool is incredibly beautiful and huge! Don't buy food here - WAY too expensive! $30 for one cocktail and a chicken basket. Taxes and fees are outrageous here! Goid advice is - bring something from the ship to eat and drink!
My favorite port this trip! Booked a day at Nacional beach club and had lobster for lunch, huge island cocktails and massages on the beach. Played in a hammock in the crystal blue ocean...what's not to love? Absolutely gorgeous day!!!
The island is very pretty. Rocky footing at the beach makes it less than desirable to swim without water shoes. Swam with the stingrays and it was fun. Very calm water. Not the best guides, but not bad.
