We had a nice family cruise. We liked not having to eat at a specific time and being able to dress casual when we wanted. We really enjoyed the staff. They went out of their way to be helpful and fun. It was great when we arrived in Victoria and the staff was all out dancing and having fun to the music. We looked over at two other ships in port and they were all looking at our fun!

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
The food was terrible in the Garden Caf and any place affiliated with it. We paid extra to go to La Cucina and it was worth it. We took my mom to Cagney's Steak house for the additional cost and the food was not edible.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We had a lot of fun with the ship's activities. We played Bingo, swam, sat in the hot tub, gabled in the casino, and took in shows, There was always something to do.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We had a fun staff. Everyone was so friendly and you could tell they wanted to make our cruise the best experience ever.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
I think the Norwegian Pearl is due for a makeover. It seemed dated and not overly clean. After a few days it was easy to navigate the ship. We had my mom in a wheel chair and she was able to access all areas.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Having never been on a cruise ship before I don't have anything to compare to room to. We had an inside state room and will go to a balcony room next time. It was very small. It had good storage and the bathroom was ok.

Pros: FRIENDLINESS OF THE STAFF

Cons: FOOD
