Ship's layout was unusual in that not both sides of the public decks were open for exit/entrance. Aft section of ship was not intuitively found due to the maze-like and odd floor plan. Life boat drill was too informal and lacked the importance of such practice events. Ship was clean and tidy. The staff was helpful, cheerful and most pleasant.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food quality was average in both regular dining rooms. Coffee in all areas except the Cafe was awful, but hot. Specialty restaurants were very nice, but there were too many.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
I din't like the layout, but all other areas were well maintained, clean and nearly timeless in design.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5

Pros: Fellow passengers and ship's staff were absolutley friendly, accepting and tolerant.

Cons: Nickel and diming for items previously offered as inclusive during a cruise.

Recommends Norwegian Pearl? No.
