Great Job, Norwegian!

Sail Date: May 20, 2012

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation on the Norwegian Pearl to Alaska. There were well-chosen great activities, shows and music for all ages throughout the day and evening. Great side trips were available but not necessary to keep busy with interesting diversions.

Pros: The free style of Freestyle Cruising

Cons: Nothing

Recommends Norwegian Pearl? Yes!

Ship Quality
The entire ship was kept very clean and neat. A little wear and tear is starting to show in high traffic areas, but overall, the ship was lovely and in good shape.
Cabin / Stateroom
Our stateroom was well planned for two people with storage and easy access. We had an outside room with balcony which was perfect for the Alaska cruise. There was lots of fabulous scenery.
Service and Staff
All the staff were friendly and helpful. They were definitely there to serve us and made us feel like guests in their own homes.
Entertainment was well chosen for all ages and tastes and it was happening all day long.
Food and Dining
The food was delicious, with international options in the buffet and variety in the specialty restaurants. Open style allowed us to choose our own eating schedule and with so much food, we did a lot of "grazing".
