Ship was nice. Every night our dinner was slow. We had 2 tables next to each other with the same wait staff. One table was ALWAYS 45 minutes ahead or behind the other. That was true in both main dining rooms. Even when we asked them to rush us thru, meals took 2 hours. Also, the port of Samana was horrible. We took a excursion to see the waterfalls, only to find that the waterfalls were turned off for the day. Yes, you read right. We walked about a mile on a muddy steep trail each way to see nothing. I didn't even know you could turn a waterfall off!. Ridiculous! Beach was bad there too. Tortola and St. Thomas were nice. Private island was nice, although NCL's tendering process there was ridiculously slow. It took us 2 hours to get on the island

Pros: Entertainment

Cons: Restaurant service

Recommends Norwegian Pearl? No.
