This was our first cruise and we were not sure what to expect. We thought our room was fine, if a bit small. The food was good in the restaurants with the cover charges, but at the Garden Cafe and the Blue Lagoon it left a bit to be desired. Food was never the same twice. We ordered the buffalo wings three times at the Blue Lagoon, and once they were hot, once mild, and once were regular fried chicken. We thought the food was "off", as if it were prepared by people who were not sure how it was supposed to taste. It looked right, just tasted a bit odd. Not bad, just not what we were used to.

Pros: The scenery

Cons: The auto-gratuity and the buffet

Recommends Norwegian Pearl? Yes!
