Wonderful time

Sail Date: December 23, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

We had an extended family vacation on the NCL Pearl - it was wonderful. Definitely recommend balcony cabins! We had 4 in a row and opened the doors between them to have an extended lanai. Beds were comfortable and the cabins quiet. Lots to do on board, both for adults and kids. Our oldest LOVED the waterslide and our youngest had fun too.
Food was great and what a huge variety! Really appreciated being able to feed the kids, drop them off at kids club and have dinner with just the husband!
Wish there were more at sea days than the rush of shore days.

Pros: Kids Club, dining options, casino

Cons: Crowded swim deck during sail days, not enough sail days, rushed nature and waiting on shore excursions.

Recommends Norwegian Pearl? Yes!

Cozumel, Mexico
Lot of time spent waiting around on the shore excursion (7 hrs planned, 3 hours of it was waiting and transportation)
Don't Miss: xcaret

very disappointed with the 7 mile beach excursions - we were at port from 10-7 but the beach excursion was 12-3 - not worth the money and the quality was very poor. Next time, we'll hire our own taxi ($4/person) and go to a less crowded section with our own stuff.
