7 Night Eastern Caribbean Holiday (Miami Roundtrip)
Sail Date: December 22, 2006
Ship: Norwegian Pearl
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 7 years ago
The staff and crew members are highly professional and pleasant, and the ship is new and clean but can be decorated with better aesthetic taste. However, some programs, such as the on-shore excursions, are real disappointments.

For improvement, the entertainment programs can be enhanced with an addition of more cultivated programs, such as a mixture of classical and broadway music, information about the history, geography, and culture of the stops included in the cruise itinerary.

The management may also want to keep in mind that it is a mistake to assume that all the passengers are totally ignorant about Asiatic cultures and culinary arts. The title of one of the night performances regarding Geishia girls appears absurd, if not insulting, to Japanese culture.

Pros: Service at restaurants.

Cons: Art auction, long lines at the front desk, entertainment programs, and high price of the stateroom

Recommends Norwegian Pearl? No.
