Eastern Caribbean cruise

Sail Date: February 01, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Oceanview

We enjoyed the cruise and will be planning on taking a cruise on NCL in the future. The entertainers (Sharkbait and Oh What a NIght) were the best. We did not care for the comedien Rod Long. We love the freestyle especially travelling with 2 teenagers. We were so busy that we never for to bowl or try rock climbing.

Pros: Excursion to Virgin Gorda

Cons: Taking the tender

Recommends Norwegian Pearl? Yes!

Service and Staff
Junisera who works in Lotus Garden was the best. He was very personable and also a hard worker. Ask for him to wait on your table when you eat at the Lotus Garden!!!
Sharkbait and Oh What a Night were great!
Cabin / Stateroom
The beds were very comfortable and the stateroom (obstructed oceanview) was nice. I thought the cabins would be small but we did not feel cramped at all. The obstructed room comes with a large window so lets the light in and you can see the ocean. Good value.
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
We ate at the specialty restaurants every night. Shabu Shabu and the Cagney's were our favorite. La Cucina was not as good. The buffet offered a variety of food so that is where we ate our lunches. Summer Palace was nice for breakfast and lunch if you had the time to sit down.
