This large ship supprised me.

Sail Date: February 03, 2008

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Being a new ship, most everything worked well and was moden. Most impressed how it handeled over 2000 passengers without much congestion. The 12 elevators were for the most part adaquit. Many times I was the only passenger in an elevator. The buffet dining room (Garden Cafe) was a pleasant supprise all round.

Pros: Much supprised that the Pearl handeled the over 2000 passengers so easerly. The crew/staff excellent, helpful, cheery and very friendly. This new ship is beautiful and well laid out.

Cons: Menue choices "ho-hum" . Cabin bathroom toilet cubicles smallest ever encountered. No daily "newspaper". No movie theatre.

Recommends Norwegian Pearl? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom bathroom (balcony cabin) small overall (especially toilet cubical!) Bed (king size) a little too soft for a bad back. Balcony smaller that expected.
Food and Dining
The free-style dining worked well. The wait for a table never more than 1 -2 minutes for a party of 2.
