Norwegian Pearl Cruise Review to Alaska - Inside Passage
Review SummaryThe ship, Norwegian Pearl, is the newest ship for the Norwegian Cruise Line, this being its inaugural year. The ship was beautiful, the balconied rooms were adequate and the public rooms were nicely appointed. The staff was phenomenal!!! The Casino was great and of decent size. The shore excursion choices were terrific and delivery of tickets ordered in advance was handled smoothly. We cruised to Alaska so the pool area did not excite much. We did find that the personnel at the Spa pushed product ad nauseum. My husband went for a shave and ended up with almost $400.00 in facial products (we returned it the next day). I only bought one lotion, which I really wanted. Also, there were too many picture taking "events". Wherever you went, there was a photographer snapping pictures - dinner, getting on the ship, going on a shore excursion, etc. Just too much! The entertainment in the main theater was terrible. The lounge shows were much better. There was not enough organized activity during sail days.
