7 Night Alaska & Glacier Bay (Seattle Roundtrip)
Sail Date: July 15, 2007
Ship: Norwegian Pearl
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Family (young children)
Reviewed: 10 years ago
The ship is beautiful. However the rooms aren't insulated and you get a lot of noise from the rooms next to you and the hallway. We were very disapointed in the quality of the food even in the specialty restaurants lacked flavor. We found the bar staff very unfriendly. The ship has a beautiful spa unfortunately the staff doesn't match the facility

Wish we had more time. It would be nice to spend less time in Skagway and more time in Victoria.
Don't Miss: Downtown shopping.

The best Alaska port. Lots of options.
Don't Miss: Sport Fishing, great first time fishing adventure for the kids.

Don't Miss: Float plane, bear track.

Spend way too much time there. Not a lot to do.

Pros: New Ship

Cons: Cabins are poorly insulated, you can hear everything that is going on in the next cabin.

Recommends Norwegian Pearl? No.
