Room Type: Balcony

We choose a five day cruise for total rest and relaxation. We got all we wanted and more. The choices from "rock" wall climbing, basketball, shuffleboard, bowling (on 4 regular size lanes), gigantic water slide, 2 pools to the Casino, shopping, bingo, art shows, library kept us busy whenever we weren't stuffing our faces with wonderful food items. The nightly entertainment from the shows to people watching kept us busy in the evenings...and of course, more food. What's not to like?

Pros: all the features of this ship

Cons: too many extra fee situations - including specialty foods

Recommends Norwegian Pearl? Yes!

Food and Dining
General food options are good to excellent. There are many specialty options available with more money each time you dine.
Ship Quality
The Norwegian Pearl was just commissioned two months prior and is in beautiful condition everywhere.
Cabin / Stateroom
We really enjoyed a balcony cabin! The newly designed bathroom was very nice.
Service and Staff
Our cabin's A/C was way too cold...but only the first night. The engineer came and readjusted it to our liking.
