Not so hot.
7 Night Western Caribbean (Charleston Roundtrip)
Sail Date: December 02, 2006
Ship: Norwegian Majesty
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 8 years ago
Review SummaryThis ship was the smallest we have ever been on. We paid for the ocean view room since balconies were not available, and it was not a good trade-off. It was soooo small we could not even push our beds together without losing what little walk way we had. This was our 5th cruise and our smallest room by far. The ship itself is OLD and in need of cosmetic repair. The jogging track is incredibly cramped, making it hard to run laps. The food is generally lacking, for the first time in my cruising life I skipped meals. A mechanical problem caused us to miss a port. We were informed of the problem AFTER boarding the ship and our luggage was already sent to the handlers. Mechanical trouble, we learned later, has been recurring problem for this ship. Spoke with more than one cruiser that had been through this before.
Ports Of Call
Pros: Not being at my job.
Cons: The ship, the itenerary, the food.
Recommends Norwegian Majesty? No.
