Review summary
As this was our first cruise, we had no idea what to expect. I wish you could have seen the look on our 5 year old twin boys faces when they saw the ship for the first time! We were greated so warmly and made to feel right at home. We loved how easy it was to get around with our one year old daughter's stroller. Everyone was so helpful. one man even carried the baby and stroller up the stairs for me when the elevator was full! The room wsa nice- a bit small for all of us so next time we'll get the family size one. But everything was organized and we had a place for all our belongings. There was always so much to do and the food was wonderful. I was amazed at how fast the crew knew our names and catered so much to our children! They made it such a wonderful experience for them. They played with them, told them stories, helped them get snacks and food (icecream!) and these weren't even the people in the kids club! Everyone knew all there names and made sure to greet them at each passing. After a busy year with a new baby and construction on or house we really needed a break and you gave us that and so much more. Without having to worry about the liitle things we were able to focus on being a family and just having fun together. My parents were with us and they had a ball! We loved the ease of being able to eat when and where we wanted. With 3 small children it made it so easy. The show were wonderful, the bingo, kereoke, talent shows- yes we did it all- the casino- were all teriffic. It was also so easy to get on and of the boat while docked. You crew made the process simple and without allot of effort on our part. Our room was made up each mornign and turned down each evening and our Cabin person- Roderick- was just amazing. I had asked for detergent to wash the baby's bottles and from that moment he took it upon himself to wash the bottles each moring. Every day when we came back to our room they would be drying on a tray. He did this for us EVERY day! He also knew that most nights we put the kids to bed around 8 so he would come ealry and turn down the beds and give a new towels so the room would be ready for them. My children loved him and they were all hugging when we left. One more important person i must note was Frances. She was part of the entertainment crew- actually she was everywhere! She was so wonderful to my children. They took and immediate liking to each other and she made sure to know who the twins where right away. She included them in special little ways and they even exchanged a-mail addresses when we left. When we went to say goodbye she actually started to cry (which made me cry!) and said she would just miss them so much! Both Frances and Roderick went above and beyond there jobs and should be commended for that kind of dedication to their jobs and the people they take care of. We came home feeling rejuvinated (tired but rejuvinated!). Our sense of family was restored and we we can't say enough about your cruise line to everyone we meet!. Thank you for a wonderful trip! We can't wait to try another one soon!Ship experiences
