Review summary

I can say that my first experience cruising on the Norweigian Cruise Lines will not be my last. We bored the Majesty on Sunday at noon and sailed to Bermuda and returned the following Sunday morning. We did the express check in, which got all 15 of us on the ship in less than an hour. Once on the ship we sat on the deck and enjoyed our long awaited trip. The staff was excellent and aided in whatever questions or needs we needed. Throughout the sail to Bermuda we enjoyed lovely dinners in the restuarants, drinks by the pool, singing, and tanning on the upper decks. Though the sail to Bermuda was only a little over two days, it flew by. Once in Bermuda, it was amazing to see how the ship was able to sail right into St. Georges, where the boat remained untill our friday departure. There was plenty to do on the Island, from beaches to sight seeing, to events planned in front of the ship on the port. We went to Horseshoe bay (highly recomended), Tobacco Bay, and St. Catherine's beach. All were beautiful and not too crowded. We also traveled to Hamilton for some shopping. The only downfall was the cost of getting a cab to places to go. However, we had an amzing cab driver one afternoon who told us all about Bermuda (why houses are certain colors, different areas, culture, healthcare). The ship left on Friday at 11:30, and we had a great sail back to Boston. During the sail, there was a chocoholic Buffett, with more choclate than anyone can eat. We also ate in the Bistro which was definatly a lovely dinner. Though we sailed as a large group, the staff was happy to accomidate all our needs (such as dinner together). It was a lovely trip and I can not wait to go again next year!
