Review SummaryThe represensative lied to me when I purchase the cruise, I asked that no obstruction be in our view. I purchase a balcony stateroom. It's the old bait and switch thing with them. When you find out there is an obstruction because they placed you in a stateroom the upgrade at first would have been four hundred more. The rep lied constantly to us it was the actual cruise Carnival reps who sold us this cruise. This rep became verbally abusive on several occasions did nothing to change our stateroom.
My spouse on our second day was served in his food large chards of glass dishware under the sauce it broke out his front tooth and damage the next tooth. The treatment thereafter by security could be considered stalking. We were watched constantly after we demand to make out a report while still at the table. Two bus women stood by our table seeing the incident. From then on our cruise became a nightmare.
My significant was constantly harassed by the same head of security each time we board the ship. Other people received different treatment. The alarm would go off only for my significant while he empty his pockets over and over again. One time he brought back a bottle that had a beverage in it with alcohol from one island it was taken by the same security head who demand he smell it. No one else receive this treatment, everyone took large bottles of alcohol onto the ship that were not saved for later or confiscated you'd see them lined up by their doors in the mornings. At night each night at 3:00 AM our door was hit so intensely it would wake us up as someone tried to frighten us by seemingly trying to gain entry into our stateroom. We barracade ourselves in. We were followed constantly everywhere at night by several people including security. We felt like something could happen to us easily so we said nothing and always stay with other passengers if possible. They have since refused to pay the dentist for a crown and gave us no assistance but denied the filed report. Carnival is extremely lacking in any form of compassion, courtesy or responsibility for breaking out a passengers tooth. They took the chards immediately from our table, we filed a report, I was a wittness to the incident. They take no responsibility for the incident or his eating glass on top of it which could have injure his stomach and intestines but left him with one broken tooth, one chipped next to it. You feel very vulnerable as you have no rights at all on this ship nothing set to protect you at all.
