Review SummaryThis was our first cruise, so we had no expectations. Unfortunately, we realized quickly that we should have looked into the ship a little bit more before booking. We had several problems with the ship for various reasons. First, we got on the ship and they lost a piece of my luggage. Then we were told that this is a freestyle cruise and you can dine in any of the restaurants at any time. So, we decided to go to Le Bistro, however, when we got there, we had not made a reservation and they would not allow us in the restaurant even though there were many open tables. They sat us in the hallway outside the restaurant. We laughed about it and figured, who cares we are on vacation. Then we had started to try other restaurants on the ship and realized that all of the food was not very good. They had an open buffet which was nice and convenient, but still the food was not very good. Next came the worst thing that could have happened. The seas got rough and the weather got very dreary and cold, so we were unable to stop in Cozumel, Mexico, we were stuck on the ship for a whole day without any compensation, except the port tax fee. The temp outside was cold and windy, so the pools were closed and we were stuck inside the ship for the next day and a half until we reached key west. The problem with being stuck inside was the lack of good activities. The activities were geared towards kids and older folks. We were hoping for something in exchange for not being able to stop in Mexico. An open bar for an hour, a monetary compensation, or even a tee-shirt would have been nice. We tried to make the best of that day and drank and made friends with other cruisers who shared the same complaints. There were other problems, however, no one is going to want to read a review this long. So, we will definitely cruise again, however on a bigger ship and make sure that we read the reviews!!! Good Luck!
