Review SummaryThis was our very first cruise experience and it did meet and/or exceed our expectations at times. Our stateroom was about what we anticipated in size. Additional storage space for baggage would have helped a lot. The staff was the best! Everyone was very polite and accommodating. The cleanliness of our stateroom was excellent. Our housekeeper was always cheerful and friendly, taking the time to remember how to pronounce our name and inquiring about how our day went. The food was good but not outstanding. A pleasant surprise was the "On Shore Dining" allowance and the great food we had at a local restaurant in St. George's. There was always something to do on the ship. The pools were disappointing and the poolside area was very crowded and loud at times but there were enough venues for passengers who wanted quiet time. On the negative side was the transportation options in St. George's. Our captain gave a cautionary statement on the inherent dangers of scooters which left the bus or taxi to get to Hamilton. The taxi fares were steep unless shared with multiple people and the bus rides were crowded and long.
