7 Night Bermuda (Boston Roundtrip)
Sail Date: August 26, 2007
Ship: Norwegian Majesty
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Family (older children)
Reviewed: 10 years ago
My family and I have sailed on the Majesty from Boston to Bermuda once before and are planning on doing it again in a couple of years, but I believe it will be the NCL Dream that sails out of Boston starting next year.
We are all about the beach (with 2 kids). The ship docks in St. Georges and it can take awhile to travel around the island by bus, though this time we also took advantage of the ferry service which went to the Dockyard & Hamilton. Rather than participating in the different tours the ship promotes, we found it less costly for 4 to get around on our own including taking a taxi one-way to Horseshoe Bay(got us their in 45 minutes vs. 90 minutes+ by bus).

It's not Broadway quality, but there was a variety of acts offered throughout the week and it gave us a chance to do and see things we wouldn't normally partake in.

Service and Staff

Our cabin stewards introduced themselves the first day and spoke to us by name from there on in. We had the same waiter three nights out of seven, and if he was working and we weren't at his station, he still acknowledged us and asked us how our day was.

Cabin / Stateroom

Obviously, it would be nice if the staterooms were larger but how much time do you spend in them anyways?

Pros: The itinerary & departure location-leaves out of Boston & spends 3 1/2 days in Bermuda

Recommends Norwegian Majesty? Yes!
