Overall, we really enjoyed our cruise to Bermuda. The ship was comfortable (not luxurious) which suited our family vacation just fine. It was an excellent value for the price we paid. We would definitely cruise with NCL again.
Food and Dining

Food was excellent in the dining rooms and in specialty restaurant Le Bistro. The Four Seasons dining room was cozy and quieter than the larger Seven Seas. Pasta Cafe (in the Royal Observatory) was a beautiful setting and a pleasant alternative for one evening; menu some evenings was a bit lack-luster. The Cafe Royale buffet restaurant was casual, bustling and the food was predictable. Our 9-year old enjoyed the pizza restaurant (open 24 hours), where other passengers seemed to love the burgers. The freestyle option on NCL was great. We waited to be seated only twice (one time for about 10 minutes; 35 minutes the other evening). We were able to get last minute seating at Le Bistro twice; and the food and service was great. Being non meat-eaters, we found enough choices each day (usually a seafood and/or pasta choice and a vegetarian choice). The "cooking light" option on the menu was a welcome option as well.

We enjoyed the shows we attended very much. The cruise director and entertainers were great. The activities poolside were a lot of fun, and because of the short duration of most, they were not at all annoying or intrusive.
My only disappointment was the yoga class, for which you pay extra ($10+18% automatic gratuity); there was only one class the whole week, and only 45-minutes in duration, led by the spa manager who seemed quite unhappy to be teaching the class. Instructions were minimal; I felt bad for the two beginners who received no modifications or extra assistance (they could have used some).

Our 9-year old loved the Kids Crew. He made several friends and had a great time at all the activities arranged. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was secured and all the children wore bracelets while attending and were not allowed to leave until a parent signed them out. All the children I saw seemed very happy to attend. We did not use the late night or Port Play activities they offered.
Not a part of the children's program, but available to kids and teens was a daily hour of Nintendo Wii Sports at the Royal Fireworks lounge. Mike Schulz, from the entertainment staff, did a wonderful job organizing and running this every day. Our child had a lot of fun participating, since we don't have one at home.
Service and Staff

The staff was exceptional. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The cabin staff made animals out of towels everyday for our son. The reception staff was helpful and efficient. The dining staff was exceptionally efficient and went out of their way to accommodate a severe food allergy.

The ship layout was very nice. Public areas were nice; although, some of the carpeting and furniture were well worn and in need of updating.
Cabin / Stateroom

We expected our outside stateroom to be a lot smaller than it was. The window was a nice size, beds were comfortable; plenty of storage space; a small refrigerator came in handy. There was a little rust in the bathroom, and the carpet could have used better cleaning around the edges.

Cons: Pool and deck got a little crowded on at sea days
