Ship: Norwegian Majesty

Traveled As: Couple

The ship was well maintained and the staff was attentive. The facilities were clean overall, but the public use bathrooms in the crowded areas like the pool deck need improvement. The events are plentiful and well scheduled. This is a small ship by today's standards and the staterooms are small leading to a very crowded ship when not in port, particularly on the pool deck. The staff often seamed stretched too thin trying to keep up.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
There is only 1 specialty dining option on The Majesty. The 2 dining rooms "The Four Seasons" and "The Seven Seas" have identical menus, so it is really not 2 different dining options. The "Pasta Cafe" requires a reservation 24 hours ahead, and it was nothing to write home about. The buffet was always the best bet. Burgers and hot dogs are available 24 hours a day, and there is an ice cream bar open until 3pm.

The shows were top notch. Excellent live music and broadway class dancers. Jane Powell who calls herself "The Chocolate Goddess of Love" is a phenomenal singer / entertainer and is not to be missed. Very funny comedian. Hypnotist "Nadeen" was terrible; very childish amateurish shows.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The stateroom was way too small and poorly laid out. It had an odd angulatrity from a bathroom that could only be described as ridiculous. It was kept clean and the room attendants did a very good job.

Tobacco bay and St. Catherine's beaches are close to the ship dock. Walk it and see how beautiful Bermuda is up close. The shopping area is nothing special. Get a multi-day bus & ferry pass and don't miss the southside beaches adjacent to and including Horseshoe bay. DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON DOLPHINQUEST! HUGE RIPOFF! Bring snorkel equipment and enjoy the magnificent marine life and turquoise clear waters all over the Island.
Don't Miss: Awsome beaches with excellent snorkeling. Get a good underwater camera.

Pros: Best entertainment in the industry; A chocoholic buffet; Good food & service.

Cons: Tiny state rooms; overcrowding on the ship. Staff sometimes unable to keep up.

Recommends Norwegian Majesty? Yes!
