As first time cruisers, we found this ship to be better than expected. Although there were a few problems, overall the experience was fun.Our rooms were comfortable enough for the amount of time that we were in them. They were always stocked and kept up with. There was adequate storage and closet space. We ordered room service for breakfast on the first morning, and it never arrived. The food was great. We had great service in the restaurants and the buffets were always hot and well stocked. We found the entertainment to be poor. It seemed like the shows were part of a high school performance. It would have been nice to have some gambling or slot machines in a non-smoking area. There were plenty of machines of all varieties. The bingo was expensive. The only thing that we were genuinely upset about was that we had planned a birthday surprise through the ship, and it was ruined. Twice, they forgot to bring the cake at dinner, and the waiter mentioned to the birthday person that he was getting a surprise. For the value, we found our cruise to be very good, and would recommend it for first timers.
