Our first cruise, so consider the source

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

My ten year old son and I just got back and had a wonderful time. Lots to do on Bermuda, do not miss Horseshoe Bay beach if you like to body surf. The Turtle Bay Catamaran cruise is another got to do it. Food was good for the most part, the menu in the dining rooms is different every day, but if you are not an adventurous eater you may have problems. The buffet is quick but boring. The kids program was great but we only used it for about 40% of what was available.

Pros: the staff, the shore excursions

Cons: food variety

Ship Quality
She is an old girl, set to retire soon, but everything was clean.
Food and Dining
Freestyle is the way to go, but if you are after luxurious gourmet cuisine, look elsewhere. Very expensive to eat in Bermuda. Room service is not so great, very limited menu and takes forever, they obviously do not want to promote foom service usage.
Cabin / Stateroom
We upgraded to superior, oceanview, midship and had plenty of room. Service was fabulous, the stewards make the coolest towel animals.
Service and Staff
Can not say enough about all the staff, everyone seems to know what you need before you do.
Entertainment
Tons to do for everyone, do not miss Bud Anderson. Bingo crew rocks.
Children's Programs
Very convenient, you can pick and choose what you want to do and it is free! Age appropriate grouping, there were a lot of kids my sons age on board and they were all buds by the time we were sailing home so that kept him all kinds of busy.
