My husband and I went on the Majesty last year when the ship made it`s swing from the Carribean back up to do it`s Boston-Bermuda run. On the swing cruise we vistited San Juan, St.Thomas, Bermuda then back home to Boston. We really enjoyed ourselves on this cruise, and found our first cruise to be a great way to visit a few destinations on one vacation. Our cabin was a bit on the small side but we did have a large window on the Viking deck, which helped. The food was good, and the service was great. The freestyle dinner seating really worked well for us, as you could eat whenever and wherever you wanted. We liked the Bistro and the Main Dining room. The ship is smaller so if you are prone to sea-sickness, I`d pack some dramamine. The pools and the hot tubs get crowded fast, and some areas of the ship could use some updating however the crew ensure you are well taken care of. We loved St.Thomas and recently flew back for a week and stayed at the Marriot Frenchmans Reef highly recomend this hotel We also loved Bermuda and found the beaches and the ocean beautiful, although by bus from St.Georges not exactly a quick trip. The Swizzle Inn is a great place to visit at night, and the people of Bermuda where very friendly. Great shopping in Hamilton for everything from t-shirts to Rolex. We`re thinking of going on the Majesty again, as we enjoyed our first cruise alot.
